Layout Outline

The Layout Outline displays all components on the canvas in a hierarchical structure.

Supported Operations

1. Search: When there are many components on the canvas, you can search for components by their ID.
2. Select Components: You can click the row where the component is located to select it, supporting multiple component selection. The selected component information is synchronized in real time with the global toolbar and canvas, allowing you to continue improving dashboard design using component operations supported by the toolbar and canvas. For example, after selecting multiple components here, you can use the distribution operations in the global toolbar to layout the components.
3. Lock and Unlock Components: To avoid accidentally touching components that are already arranged during layout, Dashboardx Designer supports component locking. Locked components cannot be translated, rotated, or scaled on the canvas. In the Operation column, you can easily lock or unlock any component.

💡 Tip

All locked components are identified by a lock icon in the Layout Outline.
