Hierarchy

The Hierarchy panel lists every widget on the canvas as a tree. When a dashboard has a dozen widgets layered on top of each other, this is the map you navigate by — clicking a row finds the widget, no matter what it is hiding behind.

What you can do

1. Find a widget — open the filter on the Name column and start typing; the list narrows as you type.
2. Select widgets — click a row to select that widget, or select several at once. The selection stays in sync with the canvas and the toolbar, so you can keep working from either: select a group here, then use the toolbar's distribution and alignment commands on them there.
3. Lock and unlock — locking keeps a finished widget from being nudged out of place while you keep arranging everything around it. A locked widget cannot be moved, rotated or resized on the canvas. Use the Operations column to lock or unlock any widget.

💡 Tip

Every locked widget carries a lock icon in the panel, so you can see at a glance what will not budge.

Locking protects a layout; it does not hide the widget or freeze its data. A locked chart still updates as its dataset changes.
